When your schedule is manic and you just haven’t got the time to create new material, re-purposing existing content is the ultimate time-saving strategy. And although it may seem like the lazy option, it’s actually a really effective aspect of content marketing. SEO is not the techniques we use to get our sites to the top of Google. SEO is simply the objective of getting to the top of Google. Any technique you use to try and get more attention from Google could be considered SEO. To be a part of the party, make sure your business website uses structured data markup. It’s totally understandable that Google takes user behavior into account in their assessment of which result to rank highest. Title tags and meta descriptions are important elements of your website’s content. The title tag and the meta description tags should include keywords relevant to the content of the web page they describe. This helps Search Engines understand what the page is about and index your web pages accordingly for relevant keywords or keyword phrases.
One question that often arises in regards to HTML tags and linking is whether or not internal links should be “nofollowed.” “Rel=’nofollow’” instructs Google to not allow PageRank to flow through the link. Organic traffic refers to visits that come to your site when a user clicks on an unpaid search engine result. The key is that these visits
are free. Search engine optimisation (SEO) is your means to maximising your access to and returns from this free traffic source. When building your content, it’s important to remember to give the
crawlers enough to bite into. A hundred words typically isn’t enough copy
for these crawlers to read and understand what the content is about. And

Google’s number-one mission is to answer users’ queries in as little clicks as possible. So it’s a common-sense assumption that SERP features such as Featured Snippets and Related Questions significantly reduce the overall number of clicks to sites, including your own. Google can, and does, ignore low relevance links. The worst offenders are generic links (“click here”) and even worse, off-topic links. Although bounce rate is hard to measure you should definitely monitor the trend of your bounce rate and the differences in bounce rate between your pages. If a specific page has a very high bounce rate, you should try to figure out what’s the cause. You could add links to other useful pages or call to actions to keep people on your site. Local search success can be achieved by SEO. Search engines drive dramatic quantities of focused traffic, comprising people intent on accomplishing their research and purchasing goals. Increasing visibility via organic search today means incorporating content marketing, UX, CRO, and high-level business strategy.

In order to get the most success with search engines, you need to speak their language. They don’t care how pretty your site is or how much blood, sweat, and tears went into creating it. Sad but true. However, they do care about the keywords you use on your web pages so make sure you use them properly. Weave them throughout the text in a natural way and use variations just to cover the entire basis. All your citations (an online reference to your business including your NAP) need to be consistent, so as you start building them (see below), make sure that firstly, your NAP is correct, and the same (so Google & Bing can see the connection). Domain to page relevancy means the page linking to your website is relevant to your domain.
Proper HTML and CSS Validation
We’ve all experienced the frustration of a slow-loading site. And there’s plenty of evidence showing slow-loading sites perform less well. Google prefers fresh content. An older page that’s regularly updated may outperform a newer page. If you execute your keyword research properly, you’ll end up with a long list of search terms you want to be found for. Make sure to search for those terms in Google yourself. What results are there already? Who will be your online competitors for these search terms? What can you do to stand out from these results? It’s possible to rank number one for many keywords that have no real ROI. Instead, you should focus on metrics that bring conversions. Organic SEO is a lengthy process. Not because it’s complicated to implement (though it can be), but because tracking what works versus what doesn’t requires a least a few months’ worth of results to analyze. Plus, you need numbers! Traffic. It’s tough to track what’s working if you don’t have a consistent flow of online visitors leaving digital footprints for you to analyze.
